Major Hang-over.

I thought Lambert was going to win... but no! OMG talaga. Kris Allen all the way!:)

Sure, Adam was a great entertainer, he had better vocals, and he always gave his 110% on every performance. It won't be Adam Lambert if it wasn't bongga enough, right? But try to close your eyes and take away the eyeliner, the lights, the glitter, the fashion-forward costumes and the hair gel... ayun.

On the other side, Kris was more of the laidback performer. Parang jamming lang everytime, at parang gugustuhin mo lang siyang sabayan. But when he sang, OMG, nakakatunaw. It seemed like he was singing there right in front of you (swerte lang nung wife niya di ba? haha).

I think America made the right choice. Adam doesn't need the Idol title to be a star. He's already one, isn't he? Hollywood's gonna welcome him with open arms. I bet some producers are already thinking of casting him on one of their flicks. Haha. Hindi ko lang maintindihan bakit bitter ang mga fans niya? Given na American Idol is based on the popularity vote. All the contestants had a choice kung ano ang magiging style nila. Nagkataon lang na nagka-issues si Adam because of the pics that surfaced sa net, and because of his glam rock style (sabi nga, the left-side of rock) na hindi naman fan ang lahat. Nadadamay pa ang pagiging Christian ni Allen sa issue (Hello? This isn't an issue of beliefs and religion?). From the beginning, we all knew that Allen came from the southern states (big potential fanbase) and he had that boyish charm (meaning lots of girls are gonna vote for him). Also, I think the Gokey fans placed their votes on him na lang once Danny got booted because of his ore laidback style which was more similar to Danny's. Plus factor pa yung versatility niya to switch from one instrument to another, and his ability to make a song his own. Yes, he is talented and he's not going to be the next Taylor Hicks.

P.S. Btw, I loved Adam's "Mad World" performance (yung "year of birth" episode nila) as well as his performance with Kiss (It really rocked! Haha). But I loved "She works hard for the money", "Heartless" (OMG!), "Ain't no sunshine" and "What's going on" as well as Allen's performance with Keith Urban, more!:))

Random midmorning realizations.

I need more long conversations where in I do the talking. Not that I don't want to listen anymore. I don't share my matters and other stuff to other people because I would rather listen and give advice than pour my heart out. I just feel that I have been keeping things to myself for too long now.


I really am into the folk rock genre. Haha. Do you watch American Idol? So kilala mo si Kris Allen? Well, I'm rooting for him in the finals kasi I like his style better compared to Adam Lambert's vibe. Ang OA kasi ng theatricals ni Adam for me pero don't get me wrong. It works for him, and I am amazed by his creativity. But in the end, the votes will still be the deciding factor. Ikaw? Who are you rooting for?


I love being involved in the church. Masarap yung feeling na you are part of something. Masaya kasi alam mo na you helping in the spiritual growth of others as you help out in the church activities, especially sa youth. Hahahaay. Sana sumaya na kaming lahat.

I'm blessed, more than I'll ever know.


Family is really an important support group. I'm blessed kasi my family life has always been happy lalo na ngayon! I thank God for giving me parents na disciplinarians and strict yet are giving me enough space to make my own realizations. And also for a sister who never fails to give us a good laugh. I'm super happy kasi nagkakasundo-sundo kami lahat sa mga trip gawin. Although there are times na nagkakatampuhan, in the end nagkakaayos rin naman.

Oh Summer!

I haven't had a summer like this for a long time now.

Last summer, I was in Quezon City, stayed at lola amp's house, doing CWTS (Google it, 'pag di alam. Haha!). Everyday I had to wake up at around 6:30am, eat breakfast if time permits, commute to wherever abbey was meeting me (SM North, MRT, jeep station, etc) and go to the GK (Gawad Kalinga) site. We work under the harmful rays of the sun the whole day, after which I usually have "float-ation" moments with Faeska and Kem, go back to lola's, have dinner, chat at the dinner table and then have a The OC/Heroes/Any-movie Marathon 'til my eyes grow tired.

Everyday.

Last last summer, I was in Negros Occidental as part of my graduation present. Even if it was a vacation, we were always on the go because we wanted to see so many people and go to so many places. We generally stayed in Bacolod, went to Binalbagan, visiting Kabangkalan(?) also, dropped in at Iloilo, stayed in Boracay for a few days, went back to Bacolod THEN back to Manila. Even though it was tiring, I really enjoyed that summer because I was with family. Imagine not being able to spend important moments with them all because they were at a different island in the same country (different location in short)? Haha.

Sad, right?

Anyway, we had to go back to Manila a bit earlier because it was time for me to enroll since I was an incoming freshman at UP Diliman.

Last last last summer, I was studying everyday for the UPCAT. Pressured much? Haha. My parents enrolled me to Review Masters, a review center owned by a family friend here in Los Banos, where in I had a sort-of refresher course as I reviewed lessons from 1st year to 3rd year in order to prepare for the UPCAT. I also started to organize our batch yearbook (which up to now isn't finished yet). Ang hirap if you do things alone pala? Especially when working in a yearbook, you need lots of stories, lots of info from everybody. Batch effort talaga siya. Aside from that, I also got the pox! Haha. I was house-confined for about two weeks. To this day, only a few scars remain, reminding me of the itchiness and the discomfort the pox brought to me. Thank God for the shots I got as a baby!

This summer...well, I'm a bum and I'm taking advantage of the situation! Haha. Once school starts, I'll be busier than ever. Kaya ayun.

Here's some of the stuff I've done so far...

1) Made personal thank you notes and gave them away.
2) Organized a few batchmates and still working on the yearbook (AGAIN).
3) Jogged -- Haha. Few times pa lang.
4) Baked.
5) Uploaded pictures from December to March to my multiply account (Check the left panel for the link.;>) -- hundreds of them. Grabe lang.
6) Joined Marise and the gang at the Youth Jam.
7) Cleaned up my room -- grabe, if you only saw kung gano kakalat nung room especially when I brought back my dorm stuff. Heyup sa gulo!
8) Passed my dorm application form -- and chat with Kat after that.:)
9) Became more active sa youth group ng church. -- well, not really active pero malapit na. Heto na! Now na! (joke. nakerelate ka?)
10) Finished reading a few books!
11) Helped our new helper cook a new dish -- something with chicken liver and pineapples. Sawa na ako sa pinirito e!
12) Organized the DVDs and VCDs in the drawer, as well as the art stuff, school supplies, in short -- NAGLINIS.
13) Tutored Ea sa math and english for a few times now. -- Haha. Ako yata ang narereview.
14) Opened a plurk account and updated my FB. Hehe

At syempre, played Sims2! Haha. 5 generations na!:))

Productive much? Wish ko lang. Fattening kaya!:p

I'm sort of experimenting, y'see. I'll try to plurk for one whole week without inviting anyone (well, exception to Reg), and see how often I might be able to plurk and update. Kasama na rin dun ang pagtaas ng karma without invitations and responses. Boy, for sure ang bagal nun!
