i was supposed to share with you a not-so-wholesome story..but i changed my mind.
anyway, my life has been great for the past few days.
first reason, my kalai friends!!! yes, sobrang natutuwa ako sa newfound friends ko sa kalai. for some reason, i instantly felt at home with my "corridor-mates" kahit na came from different places. i'm so happy na i was able to find Christian dormmates. oh diba, saya! what's more is that magkakatabi lang yung rooms namin! haha. last night nga, hannah, joie and me acted like crazy people. laughing here and there. siguro yun yung epekto ng kapeng barako..haha! btw, the kapeng barako was a freebie from the UP Batangan org. grabe ha, publicity na ito.
second reason, i was able to call my high school friends which sadly became the reason kaya naubos ang load ko. but they were worth the call.
OMG. this is drama.
haha. anyway, i was able to talk to xai, yuki, raffy and gem. tapos biglang naubos yung load ko. so because i missed them so much, nagload ako ulit. buti na nga lang at nag reload ako kaya nakausap ko si jers, mikhail and kevin. grabe! i really miss my HS batchmates..
third reason, renewed relationships. what's done is done. forget the past. move on 'cause more things await me.
fourth reason, exciting classes! last thursday, we really had a bizarre class sa socio10. our prof wanted us to think critically. he wanted to provoke our feelings. so instead of doing his usual s***, he went to the good side aka the pro morality and Christianity side making himself a hypocrite. we were discussing kasi our views on same sex marriage. My classmate said na yes, it could be taken into consideration but our society is not ready for it. kahit ano pang liberlaization ang mangyari, we would always remember our traditions, our beliefs. we would always put our values first.
another fun class is kas1. contrary to what others think that kasaysayan is boring or whatever, i actually am having fun in the class. as in i'm surprised na every 4 pm during mondays and thursdays, i'm really looking forward to going to PH 329, kahit na sobrang exhausting umakyat dun, just because i'm excited.
fifth reason, my blockmates. i think we have grown closer now that a month has passed. syempre, our MTh meetings by the main lib helps a lot.Ü
sixth reason, the FRESHIE CONCERT! grabe, lumabas talaga yung pagkafan ko. imagine: kjwan, kitchie nadal, sugarfree, yeng constantino, 6cyclemind, sandwich, callalily, chicosci, rocksteddy, parokya, kamikazee, etc plus all the freebies!Ü grabe, starstruck talaga. btw, there's another concert coming up this July 17, 2007, 6 pm at the bahay ng alumni. Bigaten din yung bands such as bamboo, spongecola, hilera, sugarfree, chicosci, etc.
seventh reason, first time kong pumunta ng trinoma! haha. sooooooooo probinsyana. my tita told me that as time passes, uunti din daw yung people doon 'cause the shops are so class A and B, as in somewhat expensive to SUPER expensive, so one would rather go to SM to shop for cheaper stuff.
eighth reason, i am home this weekend. iba talaga pag nasa bahay ka lang noh? ibang klase ang relaxation.
yeah, that's about it. happy monthsary nga pala fellow iskos and iskas! one month na tayo! still surviving the UP jungle. haha.
i guess i've adjusted somehow. wala na masyado yung feeling of homesickness. more of excitement na nga eh. i'm really glad all of this is happening..Ü
